In December, Stryker Art students were given the opportunity to enter in the Scholastic Art Show within our region. These students were Jesse Stantz, Frances Musser, Reiss Creighton, and Tayegen Deming. In total, these students, submitted 6 works of art. For our region, the Fort Wayne Museum of Art received 2053 individual art submissions, of which 626 have been awarded a Gold Key, Silver Key, or Honorable Mention. It is our honor to congratulate, Reiss Creighton in her achievement of 1 Gold Key award for her charcoal drawing titled “Plastic Perfection”. Since earning a regional Gold Key, Reiss’s artwork will continue on to be nationally judged for the New York Scholastic Show.
Reiss will be awarded at the 2025 Regional Awards open house on Sunday, February 16th from 12:30-5pm. Her artwork, as well as other regional artwork will be placed on exhibit at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art for the 2025 High School Scholastic show running from February 8th- April 6th.
